Hotel Reservation Portal Outage

Hello Reader! Just a brief note to everyone who has registered for Realm Makers already.

The hotel reservation portal is down across all of Marriott's network. It SEEMS to work, but if you try to reserve a room it will indicate our hotel has no available rooms. I want to assure you that is incorrect. The outage should be resolved within a day. Please check back tomorrow.

That's all. If you are the curious type and like more details, continue reading.

As of this writing we have around 400 registered across attendees, exhibitors, and faculty and we are at approximately 70% of our available room block.

Please wait a day before making your reservation but then please reserve your room as soon as possible. If we need more rooms, with enough notice I can increase our room block. Once we get too far into April that will no longer be possible. For complete details about our hotel and to check for availability you can visit our website for the reservation link.

I keep increasing our room block every year but we still usually run out of rooms long before the official deadline (June 21st) when the hotel reclaims any rooms we haven't used. I highly recommend booking your rooms soon... but after the portal is working again.

Thank you for registering for Realm Makers!
