Ann LaBar

In this heartwarming and whip-smart YA spin on The Rosie Project, a teen girl is determined to prove that love, like all things, should be scientifically quantified…right?

Ann LaBar is a poet, writer, actor, and educator. She lives in the wilds of Pennsylvania with a one-eyed French bulldog, a ferret, ever-changing number of hens, and her very patient husband of thirty years. When not writing, Ann desperately tries to match wits with her two far-too-clever, grown children.

Her debut young adult novel, Prom Theory, (Simon & Schuster) is now available in paperback. Prom Theory is the first work of fiction that features a protagonist with NonVerbal Learning Disorder. The Children’s Book Council lists Prom Theory in its showcase of disability awareness groups .

We are looking forward to seeing you at Bookish again! At the same time, we know that 90% of our customers are "not from around here." :) If that includes you I just want to encourage you to visit your nearest independent bookstore on Saturday and let them know you value their presence in your community and want them to stick around! When you buy a book at full price you help them to pay their employees, rent, and keep the lights on!

Bookish is very thankful for you and your patronage.

P.S. We just signed a new lease for the next year so you can count on us to be here for you when you visit the King of Prussia Mall!

P.P.S. Our online store at www.bookishkop.com is still under construction but keep your eyes peeled for a notification when we launch. In the meantime please keep in touch on our website and social media!

All my best,
